ABOUT US Our History
Connie Winters' Kennels, Inc., was started by Connie Winters as
a teenager, too young to get a "real" job in the 1960s. After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania
(IUP) with a degree in biology, she expanded her business with the original part of our current building. In business for
over 40 years, we are the oldest, most experienced pet care facility in Indiana County. As a long-time member of the American
Boarding Kennels Association, local Humane Groups, over 30 years as a 4-H leader and many other organizations. Connie has
continually worked to set a very high standard of care and ongoing upgrading of the facilities for the benefit of the pets
left in our charge. Our staff is made up of individuals who have a great love of animals and who have displayed a strong continued interest in animal care. All of our staff have been involved with dogs and cats as groomers, vet tecs, trainers or farmers for many years. Connie also owns and manages Winterfield Farms, Inc., a boarding, lesson and training facility for hunter and jumper horses. See our web site at www.winterfieldfarms.com. Directions Connie Winters' Kennels, Inc., is located between Indiana and Clymer, off Airport Road at 335 Winterfield Road. We are approximately four miles east of Indiana, Pennsylvania. To save time during check-in, print and fill out registration form and service contract. Current vaccination records must be brought along or faxed from your veterinarian. Remember to label all toys, bedding, food and medications. Questions or Concerns? We are always ready to help you and your pet in any way that we can.
